Ulobetasol Topical



Ulobetasol topical also known as halobetasol, is used to relieve itching associated with different skin diseases.

How it works

Ulobetasol topical belongs to the class of medications called as steroids. It works by inhibiting the release of certain chemicals (prostaglandins and leukotrienes) that cause the symptoms of redness, itching, swelling, and oozing.

Expert advice

  • Do not use ulobetasol topical for more than two consecutive weeks.
  • Do not apply the ulobetasol topical on face, private parts, or in the underarms. 
  • Avoid direct contact of cream with your eyes. In case of direct contact, wash your eyes with water immediately and seek immediate medical attention.
  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding. 
  • It should not take if patient is allergic to ulobetasol or any of its ingredients.
