Human Papillomavirus Type 16 is used to prevent pre cancerous anal lesions, pre cancerous genital lesions (cervical, vulvar and vaginal), cervical cancer, anal cancer and genital warts (skin bumps on or around the genital or anal area)
How it works
Human Papillomavirus Type 16 is a vaccine. It helps to develop immunity by initiating a mild infection. This type of infection does not cause illness, but it does stimulate the body's immune system to produce antibodies to protect against any future infections.
