Benzalkonium Chloride + Zinc Oxide is a combination of two different medications. Benzalkonium chloride works by disrupting and destroying the cell membranes of bacteria, fungi, and some viruses. Whereas, zinc oxide forms a physical barrier that protects the skin from irritants, moisture, and UV radiation. This protective barrier prevents direct contact between the skin and potential irritants, aiding in the healing process and reducing further damage.
