Anti Rabies Sera Immunoglobulins
Rabies immunoglobulins are administered in all III exposures as well as in cases of II exposures in immuno-supressed patients.
How it works
The anti-rabies serum provides passive immunity in the form of ready-made anti-rabies antibody to tide over the initial phase of the infection. Anti-rabies serum has the property of binding with the rabies virus, thereby resulting in the loss of infectivity of the virus.
