How to use Zinemac 150 Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zinemac 150 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Zinemac 150 Tablet works

Zinemac 150 Tablet is a H2 blocker (antacid). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in relief of acid related indigestion and heartburn.

Alcohol use can increase acid secretion, acid reflux in food pipe causing heartburn and decreasing effect of this drug. Zinemac 150 Tablet can also decrease alcohol breakdown and increase its level in blood.
Zinemac 150 Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Zinemac 150 Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
