Side Effects of Zibose-M are Nausea, Taste change, Loss of appetite, Flatulence, Stomach pain, Diarrhoea, Skin rash.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zibose-M 0.3 Tablet is to be taken with food.
Zibose-M 0.3 Tablet may cause stomach upset if taken on empty stomach.
Zibose-M 0.3 Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Metformin and voglibose. Metformin lowers the production and absorption of sugar in your body and allows better use of existing insulin. Voglibose inhibits the intestinal enzymes that cause breakdown of complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. This prevents blood glucose from rising very high after meals.

Taking Voglibose with alcohol reduce the blood sugar levels in diabetic patients.
Zibose-M 0.3 Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Zibose-M 0.3 Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is low or high. If this happens, do not drive.
Zibose-M 0.3 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Zibose-M 0.3 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Zibose-M 0.3 Tablet is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advisable while you are taking this medicine.
Zibose-M 0.3 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Zibose-M 0.3 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Zibose-M 0.3 Tablet is generally started with low dose in patients with mild to moderate liver disease and its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

Per day calorie intake should be between 1,500-1,800 calories with a proportion of 60:20:20 between carbohydrates, fats and proteins, respectively, take Healthy fats from raw nuts, olive oil, fish oils, flax seeds etc, fresh Fruits and vegetables,whole grains, legumes and other high-fibre diet, avoid refined carbohydrate diet,if u eat non veg u can take fish, poultry egg white, pulses whereas avoid red meat, avoid saturated fats like ghee, butter, avoid sweet foods, take small but frequent meals, supplements containing omega 3 fatty acids like Multivite fm omega capsule Quit smoking, avoid too much alcohol intake, find ways to reduce stress like meditation, yoga, etc. Moderate exercise daily like a brisk walk for 1 km. hope it helps
