Rivaroxaban(15 mg)


Xarelto 15 mg tablet is used to prevent and treat blood clots in blood vessels (DVT; a blood clot, usually in the leg and pulmonary embolism :a blood clot in the lung)  and certain heart diseases, It also used to reduce the risk of DVT and pulmonary embolism in patients who are undergoing hip replacement or knee replacement surgery.

How it works

Xarelto 15 mg tablet belongs to a class of medications called anticoagulants. It works by reducing the formation of blood clots.

  • Do not use rivaroxaban if you are allergic to rivaroxaban or any of its ingredient.
  • Do not take rivaroxaban if you have any bleeding disorder or increased risk of bleeding; or artificial heart valve, severe kidney problems, moderate to severe liver problems, or bleeding problems caused by liver disease.
  • Doctor’s advice should be considered in case of patients with following history of disease conditions: history of high blood pressure, anemia or low blood platelet levels; stroke; stomach ulcers.
