Virataz R 300 mg/100 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of HIV infection
Side Effects of Virataz R are Headache, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Taste change, Increased blood lipid level, Increased liver enzymes, Skin rash, Peripheral neuropathy (tingling and numbness of feet and hand).
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Virataz R 300 mg/100 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Virataz R 300 mg/100 mg Tablet is a combination of two anti-HIV medicines: Atazanavir and Ritonavir. They work by interfering with an enzyme (protease), which is required by HIV-infected cells to make new viruses. This stops the production of new viruses.
