Vertistar Plus 8 mg/10 mg Tablet should be taken without food. Take this medicine as advised by your doctor, preferably at a fixed time each day. If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment. Never stop this medicine suddenly without talking to the doctor.
Some common side effects of using this medication are dryness in mouth, nausea, indigestion, and headache. In some cases, it may cause a sudden drop in the blood pressure when you change positions, so it is better to rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.

How Vertistar Plus Tablet works
Vertistar Plus 8 mg/10 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Betahistine and Domperidone which relieve symptoms of Ménière’s disease. Betahistine is a histamine analog which works by improving blood flow in the inner ear. This lowers the build-up of fluid pressure in the inner ear. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach.

What if you forget to take Vertistar Plus Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Vertistar Plus 8 mg/10 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
