Uses of Tyuclav Tablet

Tyuclav 625mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used for the short-term treatment of bacterial infection eg. tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, lobar and bronchopneumonia, cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, boils, abscesses, cellulitis, wound infection, osteomyelitis, dentoalveolar abscess.

How to use Tyuclav Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tyuclav 625mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
This will help to avoid stomach upset.

How Tyuclav Tablet works

Tyuclav 625mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amoxicillin and Potassium Clavulanate. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Potassium Clavulanate is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Amoxicillin against bacteria.

Driving
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Tyuclav 625mg Tablet can have side effects and the symptoms (such as allergic reactions, dizziness and convulsions) may make you unfit to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Tyuclav 625mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Tyuclav 625mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
