Side Effects of Twintel are Sleepiness, Ankle swelling, Headache, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Dizziness, Tiredness, Palpitations, Stomach upset, Increased potassium level in blood.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Twintel 10mg/80mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Twintel 10mg/80mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cilnidipine and Telmisartan which lower blood pressure effectively. Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB) and Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). They work by relaxing the blood vessels and making the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.
Taking Telmisartan with alcohol may excessively lower the blood pressure.
