How to use Tripose Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tripose 325mg/37.5mg TABLET may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Take it with food, if it causes stomach upset.
How Tripose Tablet works
Tripose 325mg/37.5mg TABLET is a combination of two medicines: Paracetamol / Acetaminophen and Tramadol. Paracetamol / Acetaminophen is an analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain. Tramadol is an opioid analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking the transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception.

Taking Paracetamol / Acetaminophen + Tramadol with alcohol can cause liver damage.
Pregnancy
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Tripose 325mg/37.5mg TABLET may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
Tripose 325mg/37.5mg TABLET is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Consult a doctor immediately if the baby shows signs of increased sleepiness (more than usual), difficulty breastfeeding, breathing problems, or limpness.
Driving
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Tripose 325mg/37.5mg TABLET may cause side effects such as drowsiness and blurred vision. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Tripose 325mg/37.5mg TABLET should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Tripose 325mg/37.5mg TABLET may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION

Yes, Tripose is safe for most of the patients. However, in some patients it may cause common side effects like nausea, vomiting, constipation, weakness, dizziness, dryness in the mouth, sleepiness and other uncommon and rare side effects. Q. Can I stop taking the medication when my pain is relieved?
Tripose is usually recommended for short-term use and can be discontinued when your pain is relieved. However, it is advisable that it should be taken only as suggested by your doctor.

Yes, the use of Tripose can cause constipation. To prevent constipation eat high-fiber foods like vegetables, fruits and cereals. Drink plenty of water. Exercise regularly by engaging in activities like swimming, jogging or take a short walk. Talk to your doctor about taking some medicines to treat constipation if this persists for a long time.
Q. Can the use of Tripose cause dizziness?
Yes, the use of Tripose can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better. Do not drive or use any machines.
Q. Can the use of Tripose cause dry mouth?
Yes, the use of Tripose can cause dry mouth. If you experience dry mouth, drink plenty of water. Take regular sips during the day and keep some water on the bedside at night. You may use some lip balm if your lips are also dry.
Q. Can the use of Tripose cause damage to liver?
Tripose is usually safe to use in the recommended dose. However, an overdose of Tripose can damage your liver. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, it may increase your risk of liver damage.
