Pentoxifylline(400 mg)

Uses

Trental 400 mg tablet is used to treat peripheral vascular diseases like claudication (pain in the legs whilst walking) and rest pain.

How it works

Trental 400 mg tablet reduces the action of a protein called phosphodiesterase making erythrocyte membrane more resistant to deformity. It also decreases blood viscosity and promotes proper blood flow thereby relieving pain.
