Pentoxifylline(300 mg)

Uses

Trental 300 mg infusion is used in the treatment of peripheral vascular disease (poor circulation to the arms and legs) and intermittent claudication (pain on walking or at rest caused by poor circulation to the legs).

How it works

Trental 300 mg infusion reduces the action of a protein called phosphodiesterase making erythrocyte membrane more resistant to deformity. It also decreases blood viscosity and promotes proper blood flow thereby relieving pain.
