Tide 40 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of oedema and high blood pressure. It treats oedema (fluid overload) associated with heart, liver, kidney or lung disease.

Alcohol
CAUTION
Taking Torsamide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
Pregnancy

Tide 40 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
Tide 40 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
Tide 40 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
SAFE
Tide 40 mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Tide 40 mg Tablet is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease as the use of Tide 40 mg Tablet should be avoided in case you are unable to pass urine or the kidney damage is due to some medicines.
Liver
