Strozagel 40mg Tablet is a medicine used to prevent asthma. It reduces the swelling and widens the airways and makes breathing easier.

Strozagel 40mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. Do not any doses, in case you missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember.

It is generally a safe medicine, however, some people might experience nausea, vomiting, and rash as a side effect. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways to reduce or prevent them.

Do not stop using it unless you are advised to by your doctor.

Quick tips

  • Strozagel 40mg Tablet is given for the prevention of asthma.
  • Avoid taking Strozagel 40mg Tablet along with any kind of calcium supplement as it may decrease absorption of calcium. Give a gap of at least 2-3 hours.
  • Also inform your doctor if you have osteoporosis as Strozagel 40mg Tablet can decrease bone formation, and increase bone loss.
  • If you have osteoporosis or low calcium level, take calcium-rich food in order to build strong bones.
  • Inform your doctor if you are taking any blood thinner medications.
  • Let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Dry scaling Psoriasis (10 years); asthma 3 years.; obesity I have been on folitrax 7.5 mg x 2 once a week for the last 8 years. I also take folvite 50 daily. The breathing difficulty is recent. I am on seroflo inhaler twice a day and tiate once a day. There is no change in the psoriasis but the asthma is getting worse.
