How Stri Kit works

Stri 150 mg/1000 mg/2000 mg Kit is a combination of three medicines: Fluconazole, Azithromycin and Secnidazole. Fluconazole is an antifungal which works by preventing the formation of the fungal protective covering which is essential for the survival of the fungi in the human body. Azithromycin is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Secnidazole is also an antibiotic which kills the infection-causing bacteria and other microorganisms, by damaging their DNA.

Stri 150 mg/1000 mg/2000 mg Kit is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Stri 150 mg/1000 mg/2000 mg Kit should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Stri 150 mg/1000 mg/2000 mg Kit may cause dizziness or seizures. This may affect your ability to drive.
Stri 150 mg/1000 mg/2000 mg Kit is probably unsafe to use in patients with kidney disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.
Caution to be advised in patients with impaired renal function.
Stri 150 mg/1000 mg/2000 mg Kit is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Stri 150 mg/1000 mg/2000 mg Kit may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
