Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Sinarest OD Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Sinarest OD Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Levocetirizine and Phenylephrine which relieve sneezing and runny nose due to allergies. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing temporary relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.
Sinarest OD Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Sinarest OD Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Sinarest OD Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Sinarest OD Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Sinarest OD Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Sinarest OD Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Sinarest OD Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Q. Can the use of Sinarest od cause sleepiness or drowsiness?
Yes, Sinarest od may make you feel drowsy or may cause you to fall asleep during your regular daily activities. Do not drive car, operate machinery, work at heights, or participate in potentially dangerous activities at the beginning of your treatment until you know how the medicine affects you. Inform your doctor if you experience such episode while you are taking this medicine.
Q. Would Sinarest od be more effective if taken in more than recommended dose?
No, taking a higher than the recommended dose may not be more effective, rather it may increase the chances of having some serious side effects and toxicity. If you experience increased severity of your symptoms that is not relieved by the recommended doses, please consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
Q. Can I breastfeed while taking Sinarest od?
No, you should not breastfeed while using Sinarest od. This medicine can pass into your breast milk and may harm your baby. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding a baby.
Q. Can I take Sinarest od with high blood pressure?
Sinarest od can raise blood pressure or stimulate fast heart rate. Anyone with heart conditions or high blood pressure, before taking this medicine, should consult their doctor to see if they can safely take such medicines.
Q. Can the use of Sinarest od cause dry mouth?
Yes, the use of Sinarest od can cause dry mouth. If you experience dry mouth, drink plenty of water. Take regular sips during the day and keep some water by your bed at night.
Q. What should I know about storage and disposal of Sinarest od?
Store your medicines in a cool dry place and keep them in the original pack or container until it is time to take them. Store them out of sight and out of reach from children. Unused medicines should be disposed of in special ways to ensure that pets, children, and other people cannot consume them.
