Simvastatin(10 mg)


Simlo 10 mg tablet is used to decrease the amount of fatty substances such as low-density lipoprotein (LDL), bad cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood and to increase the amount of high-density lipoprotein (HDL), good cholesterol in the blood.

How it works

Simlo 10 mg tablet belongs to a group of medications called statins (lipid-lowering agents) or HMG CoA reductase inhibitors. It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG CoA) that is needed by the body to make cholesterol, and thereby reducing the amount of cholesterol in the blood.
