Give Sandox CP 50mg Dry Syrup to your child orally, either 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. Avoid giving milk and other dairy products to your child within a few hours of giving Sandox CP 50mg Dry Syrup. Also, prevent your child from lying down for at least 1 hour after taking this medicine to prevent irritation in the throat. Prefer giving it at about the same time each day as that will help you remember. The dose will depend on the severity and type of infection, body weight, and age of your child. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of intake, help the child calm down and repeat the same dose, but make sure to never double up the dose if it is time for the next dose.
Some children may develop minor and temporary side effects after taking this medicine. These include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dry mouth, abdominal pain, tooth discoloration, and skin rash. These side effects usually go away once your child’s body adapts to the medicine.
