Introduction

Salbusun T 2 mg/100 mg Tablet is used to treat asthma. It helps in relaxing the muscles of the air passages, thus widening them and making it easier to breathe.

It is advisable to take Salbusun T 2 mg/100 mg Tablet at the same time each day. In case you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important not to stop taking this medicine without talking to your doctor.

It may cause nausea and headache as its side effects.

How to use Salbusun T Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Salbusun T 2 mg/100 mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Take this medicine 1 hour before or 2 hours after food. You can take it with food if stomach upset occurs.
Avoid Salbusun T 2 mg/100 mg Tablet with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.

How Salbusun T Tablet works

Salbusun T 2 mg/100 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Salbutamol and theophylline. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens the airways. This makes breathing easier.

Lactation

Salbusun T 2 mg/100 mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Avoiding breastfeeding for 2-4 hours after Salbusun T 2 mg/100 mg Tablet can further decrease the exposure of medicine to the baby.
