How to use Roxicate Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Roxicate 150mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

How Roxicate Tablet works

Roxicate 150mg Tablet is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Roxicate 150mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Roxicate 150mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Q. Can I take Roxicate with food?
Roxicate is to be taken on an empty stomach at least 15 minutes before a meal. The Roxicate tablets should be taken with good amount of water.
Q. Does Roxicate treat streptococcal throat infection?
Roxicate is used to treat throat infection caused by Streptococcus pyogenes. It is also indicated for other upper respiratory tract infections like tonsillitis and sinusitis. Roxicate is active against chlamydia species and is used for the treatment of infections caused by chlamydia. Please consult your doctor before taking any treatment if you have been diagnosed with chlamydial infection.
