Roxicard 150mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used in infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).

How to use Roxicard Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Roxicard 150mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

How Roxicard Tablet works

Roxicard 150mg Tablet is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Roxicard 150mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Roxicard 150mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Roxicard is to be taken on an empty stomach at least 15 minutes before a meal. The Roxicard tablets should be taken with good amount of water.
