It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Rheza 10mg tablet at a fixed time.
Avoid Rheza 10mg tablet with high-fat meals such as olive oil, nuts & seeds (Brazil nuts), dark chocolate, butter and meat.

    Rosuvastatin(10 mg)

    Uses

    Rheza 10mg tablet is used in the treatment of increased cholesterol levels in blood, increased triglycerides levels in blood and increased LDL levels in blood

    How it works

    Rheza 10mg tablet blocks an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. As a result, it lowers the level of cholesterol in the body.

    In clinical studies, rosuvastatin, when compared to an equal dose of atorvastatin, had a better lipid lowering effect. There was no significant difference in the safety profile of both the drugs.     Levothyroxine is not known to have any interaction with rosuvastatin. Rosuvastatin should be used with caution in patients having high cholesterol due to hypothyroidism especially if the underlying disease is not properly treated.
