It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Revas 0.5 mg tablet at a fixed time.
Taking Losartan with alcohol may excessively lower the blood pressure.

    Uses

    Revas 0.5 mg tablet is used in the treatment of increased blood pressure , heart failure, heart attack and diabetic kidney disease.

    How it works

    Revas 0.5 mg tablet relaxes the blood vessels which lowers the blood pressure and also reduces the workload of the heart. As a result, the heart works more efficiently.

    Fatigue, Dizziness, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), Renal impairment, Vertigo, Increased potassium level in blood, Weakness, Anemia

    • Losartan may cause dizziness and lightheadedness. To avoid this, take the Losartan at bedtime, drink plenty of water and get up slowly after sitting or lying down.
