How to use Redotil Sachet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Empty the granules in a glass of water/milk, stir it and consume immediately. It is better to take Redotil 10mg Sachet with food.

Redotil 10mg sachet has an anti-secretory effect. It reduces the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine. This helps to reduce the amount of fluid loss from the body in diarrhoea.

Expert advice for Redotil Sachet

  • Redotil should be used together with an oral rehydration solution (ORS) to provide adequate fluid and electrolyte replacement.
  • Don't use Redotil, if you have blood and pus in the stools or fever. This may be due to bacterial infection and may need different treatment.
  • Not recommended to be taken more than 7 days.
  • Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems.
  • Don't use Redotil, if you have uncontrolled vomiting.
  • Don't use Redotil in children less than 3 months.
  • Not approved for adult and children above 13 years.
