Ramitax 8 mg tablet is used in the treatment of insomnia (difficulty in sleeping) and jet lag.

How it works

Ramitax 8 mg tablet works like melatonin, a chemical messenger naturally produced in the brain. Melatonin helps to regulate the sleep-wake cycle.

  • Do consult your doctor before using ramelteon if you are taking fluvoxamine, fluconazole, itraconazole, ketoconazole, cimetidine, clarithromycin, ciprofloxacin, gemifloxacin, levofloxacin, moxifloxacin, norfloxacin, ofloxacin, indinavir, nelfinavir, ritonavir or nefazodone.
  • Do not consume ramelteon with or immediately after a high-fat meal.
