Rabeprazole(20 mg)


Rabeprazole is used to treat symptoms of gastric acidity, gastro-intestinal reflux disease (heart burn), stomach and intestinal ulcers, and diseases associated with excessive acid production (Zollinger Ellison Syndrome).

How it works

Rabeprazole belongs to class of medications called proton pump inhibitors. It blocks the activity of the proton pumps in the stomach wall that produce acid, thereby reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach.

Mosapride(10 mg)


Mosapride is used for the treatment of heartburn, nausea, acid reflux and vomiting associated with chronic gastritis (long-standing swelling, redness, and irritation of inner lining of stomach), and also to accelerate gastric emptying in patients undergoing barium enema (x-ray examination).

How it works

Mosapride belongs to class of drugs called selective serotonin (5HT4) antagonists. It is a prokinetic drug which promotes the forward flow of stomach contents including stomach acid and prevents their reflux into the food pipe thereby preventing heartburn.

  • Take rabeprazole tablet an hour before a meal.
  • Do not take rabeprazole if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to rabeprazole or other PPI'S (pantoprazole, omeprazole).
  • If you have to the drug for a very long time, take calcium and Vitamin D supplemets to prevent risk of fractures.
  • Consult your doctor before taking this drug if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
