Psoriex Plus Ointment is used in the treatment of psoriasis
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and gently massage the ointment. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
Psoriex Plus Ointment is a combination of two medicines: Betamethasone Topical and Calcipotriol which treat psoriasis. Betamethasone Topical is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Calcipotriol is a form of vitamin D. It works by reducing the overproduction of skin cells that may build up and form scales on the skin.
