Prandial 0.2mg tablet md is an anti-diabetic medication. It inhibits the intestinal enzymes that cause breakdown of complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. This prevents blood glucose from rising very high after meals.

  • It is very common to have flatulence, abdominal pain, diarrhoea as a side effect. To prevent this it should be taken just before each meal.
  • It may cause low blood sugar level (hypoglycemia) if used with sulfonylureas.
