Planokuf Cough Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Chlorpheniramine, Codeine and Menthol. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Codeine is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Menthol produces a cooling sensation and relieves minor throat irritation.
Planokuf Cough Syrup may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Planokuf Cough Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. As Planokuf Cough Syrup may cause dizziness, blurred vision or the inability to think clearly.
