Uses

Pitava 2 mg tablet is used in the treatment of increased cholesterol levels in blood, increased triglycerides levels in blood and increased LDL levels in blood

How it works

Pitava 2 mg tablet blocks an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers the level of cholestrol in the body.

Joint pain, Headache, Back pain, Muscle pain, Allergic reaction, Nausea, Dyspepsia, Nasopharyngitis, Liver enzyme increased, Increased creatine kinase level in blood, Diarrhoea, Nose bleed, Flatulence, Constipation, Joint swelling, Increased glucose level in blood
