Piroxicam Topical(0.50% w/w)


Pirox 0.50% w/w gel is used to relieve pain and reduce swelling of the joints. It is used to relieve some symptoms associated with, chronic inflammatory disorder that typically affects the joints in hands and feet like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and rheumatism of the spine (ankylosing spondylitis).

How it works

Piroxicam belongs to a class of medications called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by decreasing the secretion of chemicals (prostaglandins) that cause inflammation and pain in the body.
