It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Pioz 7.5mg tablet at a fixed time.
Taking pioglitazone with alcohol may affect blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes.

Pioz 7.5mg tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.

    Pioz 7.5mg tablet is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.

    How pioz tablet works

    Pioz 7.5mg tablet restores the body's ability to use insulin, lowering the blood sugar levels. Pioz 7.5mg tablet also decreases the amount of glucose absorbed from food in the intestine and decreases glucose production in the liver.

    • Pioglitazone does not help patients who have type 1 diabetes.
