It is better to take Phyllocontin 350 mg tablet empty stomach (1 hour before food or 2 hours after food).
Phyllocontin 350 mg tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Aminophylline(350 mg)

Uses

Phyllocontin 350 mg tablet is used in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD) and asthma.

How it works

Phyllocontin 350 mg tablet, a xanthine derivative, is a complex of theophylline and ethylenediamine. Theophylline acts through many ways including action on phosphodiesterase enzyme and adenosine to expand the air passages of the lungs, which helps relieve chest tightness and wheezing (bronchospasm) causing relaxation of smooth muscle of the bronchial airways. It also has stimulant effect on respiration.
