Never skip any doses and finish a full course of treatment even if you feel better. It may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, fatigue, feeling of fullness, dizziness and headache. It may also cause diarrhea, so its better to take plenty of fluids while taking this medicine as it may help to prevent dehydration.

How to use Only Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Only 2 Tablet is to be taken with food.

How Only Tablet works

Only 2 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Pyrimethamine and Sulphadoxine which treat malaria. Pyrimethamine is an antiparasitic medicine which works by increasing the levels of haeme in the blood, a substance toxic to the malarial parasite. This kills the parasite and stops the infection from spreading. Sulphadoxine is an antibiotic which stops the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication.
