How Novalgin Injection works

NOVALGIN 0.5 % INJECTION is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Pregnancy

NOVALGIN 0.5 % INJECTION may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation

Driving
NOVALGIN 0.5 % INJECTION may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION

Liver

Use of NOVALGIN 0.5 % INJECTION is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

What if you miss a dose of Novalgin Injection?

If you miss a dose of NOVALGIN 0.5 % INJECTION, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
