How to use Nitzix O Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nitzix O Tablet is to be taken with food.
How Nitzix O Tablet works
Nitzix O Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Nitazoxanide and Ofloxacin. Nitazoxanide is an antiparasitic. It works by interfering with the energy metabolism of parasites, which ultimately causes their death. Ofloxacin kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

Pregnancy

Nitzix O Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
CAUTION
Nitzix O Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
Nitzix O Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney
CAUTION
Nitzix O Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nitzix O Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
