Uses of Neopred Tablet

Benefits of Neopred Tablet

In Bacterial infections

Neopred 20mg Tablet is an antibiotic which works by stopping the growth of infection causing bacteria on your skin. It prevents the synthesis of essential proteins necessary for survival of bacteria. It is effective against skin infections such as boils, impetigo and infected hair follicles. It may also be used to treat infections in small cuts or wounds on your skin. This treatment has few common side effects and should clear up infections within a few days, but you should keep using it for as long as it is prescribed.

In Hepatic encephalopathy

Hepatic encephalopathy is a severe liver disease that can cause changes in brain function leading to confusion, tremors (shaking), sleep problems and loss of consciousness. Neopred 20mg Tablet lowers the levels of ammonia-producing bacteria in the blood which has harmful effects on the brain. If taken as prescribed, this medicine can improve your brain function and reduce the symptoms associated with hepatic encephalopathy.

How Neopred Tablet works

Neopred 20mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It works in liver disease by killing the ammonia-producing bacteria. The liver normally breaks down ammonia, but in liver disease this function may be impaired, allowing it to enter the brain. Neopred 20mg Tablet prevents this by affecting bacteria's production of certain proteins that are necessary for their survival. This ultimately kills the bacteria and treats the infection.
