Uses

Mucomix 200 mg injection is used in the treatment of paracetamol toxicity.

How it works

Mucomix 200 mg injection acts against the chemicals ( metabolites) that are produced during paracetamol overdose. In lung diseases, it helps in thinning the mucus which helps in clearing the mucus from the lungs.

Common side effects

Nausea, Drowsiness, Bronchospasm, Chest tightness, Oral ulcer, Diarrhoea, Fever, Coughing up blood, Respiratory tract infection, Running nose, Thickened respiratory tract secretions, Vomiting
