Montokuf 15mg Syrup is a pain relieving medicine. It helps to relieve moderate to severe pain. It is also used for treatment of dry cough. It provides temporary relief from the cough or similar upper respiratory symptoms associated with allergy or common cold.

Montokuf 15mg Syrup is only prescribed to individuals who are at least 18 years of age or above. It may be habit forming and should be taken only as directed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. In general, you should try to use the smallest amount necessary to control your symptoms, for the shortest possible time. You should take this medicine regularly while you need it. Try not to miss doses as this will make the medicine less effective.

Some common side effects of this medicine include drowsiness, lightheadedness, dizziness, sedation, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, and sweating. Along with this, this medicine is also not recommended to breastfeeding mothers due to the risk of serious adverse reactions in breastfed infants. These include excess sleepiness, difficulty breastfeeding, or serious breathing problems which can be fatal.
