Uses of Mitinab Tablet

Mitinab 100 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of blood cancer (chronic myeloid leukaemia) and stomach cancer.

How to use Mitinab Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mitinab 100 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

How Mitinab Tablet works

Mitinab 100 mg Tablet is an anti-cancer medication. It works by blocking the action of the abnormal protein that signals cancer cells to multiply. This helps to stop or slow the spread of cancer cells.

Pregnancy

Mitinab 100 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
Mitinab 100 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
After taking Mitinab 100 mg Tablet avoid breastfeeding for 8 to 9 hours to reduce the exposure to the baby.
Driving
Mitinab 100 mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Mitinab 100 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Mitinab 100 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
Mitinab 100 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Mitinab 100 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

What if you miss a dose of Mitinab Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Mitinab 100 mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
