It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Minipress xl 2.5 mg tablet at a fixed time.
Taking prazosin with alcohol can lower your blood pressure. This can cause dizziness or feeling like you might pass out, especially when getting up from a sitting or lying position.

    Uses

    Minipress xl 2.5 mg tablet is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate), increased blood pressure and heart failure

    How it works

    Minipress xl 2.5 mg tablet works by relaxing muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily. Minipress xl 2.5 mg tablet also lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels.
