Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mibeta-Plus - 5 Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

How Mibeta-Plus Tablet SR works

Mibeta-Plus - 5 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Propranolol and Flunarizine which prevent migraine. Propranolol is a beta blocker and Flunarizine is a calcium channel blocker. They work by stabilizing the reactive nerve cells and increasing the threshold to migraine activation. They also inhibit cortical spreading depression (CSD- electric waves that move across the brain and cause pain and inflammation).

CAUTION
Taking Propranolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
Pregnancy

Use of Mibeta-Plus is contraindicated in patients with allergy to any of the ingredients: Propranolol or Flunarizine or any other excipients. This medicine contains Propranolol, so its use should also be avoided in patients with asthma, slow heart rate, abnormal heart rhythms, or heart conditions like AV block or sick sinus syndrome. As it also contains Flunarizine, the use of this medicine should be avoided in patients with the history of depression or Parkinson's disease.

Keep Mibeta-Plus in the container or pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it as mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children, and other people.
