How to use Melzap Tablet MD

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not handle the tablets with wet hands. Put it in your mouth but do not swallow it. Melzap MD 0.25 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Melzap MD 0.25 Tablet is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

If you miss a dose of Melzap MD 0.25 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Maintenance phase after first episode of anxiety disorder lasts for 6 months,medicines are then gradually tapered off. Other substitutes are available but if you are better with it, it's better to continue because other antidepressant may or may not work adequately.
