Maxmala Capsule is a combination medicine used in the treatment of neuropathic pain. It calms the damaged or overactive nerves by acting on the brain, thereby decreasing the pain sensation. It also helps in the regeneration of damaged nerves in the body.
Maxmala Capsule is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor as this is a habit-forming medicine. If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to the doctor.
There is limited data on the side effects of Maxmala Capsule. Let your doctor know if you experience any symptoms while taking the medicine. They may be able to suggest ways to treat or manage the side effects.
Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Neuropathic pain is a type of chronic pain caused by nerve damage, often felt as burning, tingling, or shooting sensations. Maxmala Capsule helps relieve this discomfort in multiple ways. It calms overactive nerves to reduce pain signals, supports nerve repair, and protects nerves from further damage by reducing oxidative stress. How Maxmala Capsule works
Maxmala Capsule is a combination of three medicines: Pregabalin, Methylcobalamin and Alpha Lipoic Acid. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B which helps in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. Alpha Lipoic Acid is a naturally occurring fatty acid which has a protective effect on brain and nerve tissue. Together, they relieve neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves).
