How to use Lopramide Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lopramide 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Lopramide Tablet works
Lopramide 5mg Tablet is an anti-diarrhoeal medication. It works by decreasing contraction of the intestines which makes stools more solid and less frequent.

- Consult your doctor if you have diarrhea lasting for more than 48 hours.
- Don't use if you have blood in your stool or it's dark or black in color.
- The drug can make you dizzy or drowzy. Avoid driving or operating any heavy machinery when taking this drug.
- Try to drink plenty of fluids. Having diarrhea can make you dehydrated.
- Do not take loperamide if you are allergic to it.
- Do not take this drug if you have blood in your stools or if your stools are dark or black in colour.
- Do not take this drug if you are severly constipated.
