It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Lobazam 0.25 mg tablet md at a fixed time.
Lobazam 0.25 mg tablet md may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Clobazam(0.25 mg)


Lobazam 0.25 mg tablet md is used to treat severe anxiety over a short time, fits (epilepsy), mental illness, such as schizophrenia (in combination with other treatments) and Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (fits in patients with 2 years of age or older). 

How it works

Lobazam 0.25 mg tablet md belongs to class of medications called benzodiazepine. It works by decreasing abnormal electrical activity in the brain.

Clobazam may be habit forming. Keep the medication in a place where others/ children cannot get to it. Do not drive, operate heavy machinery or perform activities that require alertness while on this drug Always follow the instructions of doctor regarding the dosage and duration. Do not start or continue clobazam:
  • if you are allergic to clobazam, or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
  • if you are in the first three months of pregnancy or if you are breast-feeding.
  • if you have ever had problems with drugs or alcohol dependence in the past.
  • if you suffer from an illness that causes muscle weakness (called ‘myasthenia gravis’).
  • if you have liver problems or breathing problems or you stop breathing for short periods during sleep (called ‘sleep apnea syndrome’).
  • Brain disease (head injury, brain damage).
Talk with your doctor before taking clobazam:
  • if you have liver or kidney disease.
  • if you have a history of depression or suicidal thoughts or behaviour.
  • if you are over 65.
