Levetiracetam is used to treat certain type of seizures like partial onset seizures, tonic-clonic or myoclonic in people with epilepsy.

How it works

Levetiracetam belongs to a class of medication called anti-convulsants. It works by decreasing abnormal excitation of the brain.
