Levasol M Syrup is to be taken with food. Take it with high fat meal for better efficacy. Taking it empty stomach can cause stomach upset.
Levasol M Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Mebendazole and Levamisole. Mebendazole works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), so that they lose energy and die. Levamisole works by decreasing the muscle activity and causing paralysis of the worms.
You should avoid drinking alcohol, it can increase some of the side effects of levamisole.

Levasol M Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Levasol M Syrup is probably safe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Levasol M Syrup may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
There is limited information available on the use of Levasol M Syrup in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Levasol M Syrup should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Levasol M Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
